Each blanket is made to order — Lusik works on one at a time, the way her mother and grandmother did. Plan on 5–10 business days from the day you order to the day it leaves her hands. If a specific date matters (a christening, a baby shower, a flight home to see family), tell us at checkout and we'll write back honestly about whether we can meet it.

Three letters — Armenian (Ա, Բ, Գ) or English (A, B, C), you choose on the product page. The alphabet is stitched twice along two parallel diagonals running corner to corner, so six letter-squares cross the surface in total — three letters in one diagonal, the same three again in the other. For a different letter, an unusual combination, or a name you'd like spelled out in full, write Lusik directly at hello@lusikandsons.com. She always reads them herself.

Top-left to bottom-right. Lusik stitches the alphabet along that one diagonal — she doesn't offer the mirrored direction. The middle letter sits at the heart of the blanket.

Yes. The blanket is soft acrylic, gentle enough for a newborn. Machine-washable on cold, gentle cycle, laid flat to dry — though for a piece you're hoping to keep for the next baby in the family, we'd recommend dry cleaning instead.

It depends which bib. The everyday Custom Name Bib is machine-embroidered — it lives a hard life (formula, oatmeal, the washing machine three times a week), so the name is locked in by machine to survive all of it. The heritage pieces are different: the blanket and the hand cross-stitched bib sets — the Days-of-the-Week set, the Hye Em Yes bib, the Mama & Papa's Anushig pair, and the Bari Akhorzhak bib & burp cloth set — are cross-stitched by hand and made to keep, not for daily oatmeal duty.
